This Vanguard instrument is the latest design to come out of the Vanguard design team. It features an ergonomic focusing ring that can be used at any point on the full circumference of the scope. This makes the Signature extremely easy to focus even with gloved hands in the depth of winter. The scope is fully waterproof and can be used in the worst weather without worry. The Signature 78 also has a built in lens hood / dew shield that prevent stray sunlight entering the scope in bright sunny weather and also helps prevent dew forming on the front element of the object lens when the temperature drops as the sun goes down, allowing the user extra time at the eyepiece.

The 45° zoom eyepiece, fitted as standard, delivers 20 to 60 times magnification. The tripod shoe is able to rotate through 360 degrees making the scope equally suitable for target spotting on a rifle or archery range.

The Signature 78 comes supplied in a kit that comprises of the Signature 68 scope, table top tripod, fitted carrying case, field case and 'T' Mount Camera adapter.
